Ice Hockey Single Game Tickets Set To Go On Sale Monday!

Falcons ready to take flight in year five of the Bergeron era.
Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University Department of Athletics will make ice hockey single game tickets available to the public for the upcoming 2014-15 season on Monday, September 15. The Falcons, who play all their home games at the BGSU Ice Arena, will be entering their second season competing in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). Along with several exciting conference matchups, the Orange and Brown will also feature home-and-home series with Miami and Ohio State.
In addition, the 2014 Winterfest single game tickets will go on sale Thursday, September 18. You can purchase these tickets through the Stroh Ticket Office, Walleye Ticket Office (419-725-WALL) or purchasing them online through the Toldeo Walleye (http://www.toledowalleye.com/winterfest/winterfest-tickets). The Falcons will take on Robert Morris, a rematch of last year's Three Rivers Classic at CONSOL Energy Center, in just the second-ever collegiate hockey game in the state of Ohio, and the first-ever in BGSU
Head Coach Chris Bergeron will enter his fifth season at the helm of the Orange and Brown, improving Bowling Green's record in each of his first four seasons.
The Falcons are coming off arguably their best season under Bergeron's leadership in 2013-14, leading BGSU to an 18-15-6 overall record and a semifinals appearance in the WCHA Final Five. The Falcons also earned the No. 4 seed for the WCHA Tournament, hosting a first-round home playoffs series for the first time since 2007-08. BGSU swept Michigan tech to advance to the WCHA Final Five in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Single game tickets can be purchased beginning on Monday morning (Sept. 15) in person at the BGSU Ticket Office (Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) or by calling 877-BGSU TICKET. Pricing details are as follows:

Ice Box Seats Set To Return After Successful Debut!
In addition, the Ice Box will return for the 2014-15 season with limited availability throughout the season. The Ice Box provides seating for four at a high top table located behind the glass on the south side of the arena. In addition to the table and four seats for the season, the package includes the same arrangements for any playoff games hosted in the BG Ice Arena. Amenities include a personalized reserved parking space at BG Ice Arena for all BGSU hockey games, a host/hostess to deliver food or drinks that your box may wish to purchase throughout the game. The cost for a four-person Ice Box for the season is $1,200.

BGSU Hockey will have the unique opportunity in 2014-15 to play its first outdoor hockey game in program history during Winterfest at Fifth Third Field in Toledo. Bowling Green will face Robert Morris on Jan. 3 as the 10-day community winter celebration will feature the NCAA Division I hockey game at 12 p.m. The Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens' home will be converted from a baseball stadium to an outdoor hockey rink.
