Fifty-Three Student-Athletes Graduating This Weekend

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University Department of Athletics is celebrating the graduation of 53 student-athletes this weekend over the course of three graduation ceremonies. In total, more than 2,100 degrees will be handed out over the weekend by BGSU for the University's 282nd commencement.

The 53 student-athletes graduating have a stellar track record of success. The combined grade point average of the student-athlete graduates is 3.274 and two, Erica Fullenkamp and Deborah Hoekstra, will be graduating with a 4.0 GPA.
Among those student-athletes graduating includes:
Baseball – Kevin Delapaz, Ross Gerdeman, Andrew Kubuski, Andrew Kuns, Jesse Rait, Logan Walker
Football – Zach Colvin, Darrell Hunter II, Christian Piazza, Bryan Thomas, Charlie Walker
Men's Basketball – Damarkeo Lyshe, Chauncey Orr
Men's Golf – Joshua Bialecki, Devin O'Grady
Hockey – Dan DeSalvo, Andrew Krelove, Connor Kucera, Ted Pletsch, Marc Rodriguez
Men's Soccer – Sean Hastings, Jon Kumher, Chris McLean, Sean Sikich, Brandon Silva, Ryan Snashall, Vlad Lekarev, Michael Wiest
Softball – Shelby Fink, Chloe Giordano, Jamie Kertes
Women's Basketball – Erica Fullenkamp (also volleyball), Deborah Hoekstra, Jasmine Matthews, Jill Stein
Women's Cross Country/Track & Field – Andrea Alt, Maria Meredith, Brooke Pleger, Jasmine Redman, Krystin Reiser, Allie Reynolds
