The Bowling Green State University football team will host the University of Memphis on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 3 p.m. inside of Doyt L. Perry Stadium. The contest, which is the program's home opener, is also a part of the University's Family Weekend. The contest will air on the American Sports Network, and will also be available on ESPN3 and the Watch ESPN App. For those coming to the game, please review the game day information below.Â

Falcon Football Tailgate Park
The Falcon Football Tailgate Park will open up at 12:00 p.m. Inflatables and face painting will be located at the northeast end of the sidewalk, until 3:00 p.m.

Falcon Team Walk
The Falcon Team Walk will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will take place along the sidewalk on the southwest side of the stadium between the Stroh Center and Doyt Perry Stadium. This is where the BGSU Football Team walks through a tunnel of fans, cheerleaders, dance team, band members and all Falcons as they arrive at the stadium.

PreFlight with the Falcon Marching Band
The PreFlight with the Falcon Marching Band will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the south end of the stadium. This is a pregame performance by the Falcon Marching Band in which all fans are encouraged to come out and watch as the Falcons get fired up for the game versus Memphis.

Parking

Students with a voucher (found in Campus Update) and valid student I.D. will be able to park for free in the grass lot next to the football practice field off of Stadium Drive behind the east side of Doyt Perry Stadium. Courtesy carts can be found at the Season Ticket Lot, the Ice Arena Lot and the northeast side of the Stroh Center Lot.

Traffic
I-75 is under construction on both north and south bound lanes throughout Northwest Ohio. Please make sure to plan your time accordingly. Also expect an increased amount of traffic around the Bowling Green area due to game day crowds of fans and tailgaters attending the game.

Tickets
The BGSU Ticket Office at the Stroh Center will be CLOSED. To help expedite your entrance into the Doyt Perry Stadium, the Will Call Window and ticket booths will open at 12:00 p.m. so you are able to purchase and pick up your tickets early. Will Call is located on the southeast side of the stadium at the southeast ticket booth. Player passes will be located at Gate 9, while the Media Gate is located at Gate 2. Falcon Club members will also be able to enter into the stadium at Gate 2 with a valid Falcon Club wrist band. The Visiting Team Will Call will be located at Gate 14. Fans can pay with cash, Mastercard, VISA, or Discover Card. Stadium Gates will open at 1:30 p.m.

Promotions
Thunderstix: BGSU Athletics will be giving out thunderstix to the first 2,000 students that walk through the gates
Gatling Gun Debut:Â BGSU Athletics will debut a t-shirt gatling gun for promotional activities, which is sponsored by the American Family Insurance.Â
Â
Ag Day: Saturday's game will also serve as "Ag Day at The Doyt." Farm equipment will be displayed in the Falcon Tailgate Park.

Falcon Flight Line: The first 100 students into the gates will receive a free t-shirt which will allow them to make up the fan tunnel that the Football team will run through on their way onto the field. The Falcon Flight Line will form on the field at approximately 2:58 p.m.

Brooke Pleger Recognition: During the first quarter, former Falcon and current assistant track and field coach, Brooke Pleger, will be honored for her outstanding senior season and career at BGSU.
Â
Family of the Year Recognition: During the first quarter, BGSU Athletics will also honor the Family of the Year.
Â
DJ in the Student Parking Lot: A DJ will be performing in the student parking lot, and Oasis will be proving free food.
Â
BG High Flyers: The BGSU gymnastics team and the BG High Flyers will be performing demonstrations after the Falcon Team Walk at the Falcon Tailgate Park.

The Falcon Marching Band will perform a halftime performance entitled "Frieda and Freddie Funk It Up" – including music from the songs, "In the Stone," "What Is Hip?" as well as "Uptown Funk," "Brick House" and "September."

Merchandise
The Falcon Team Store will also be open in the Stroh Center on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. through the start of the game.

Concessions
Vito's will be selling pizza on the west side of the stadium, between gates 3-4. Stop by to pick up a fresh, hot slice of pizza during the game. BGSU Athletics would like to thank Vito's for their support. Standard concessions are also available on both the east and west sides of the stadium throughout the concourse areas.

Game Day Programs
The official BGSU Game Day Programs will be available at the main entrances of the stadium. During the game, members of the local Boy Scout Troops will be selling game day programs. Programs will also be available in the Bookstore Tent in the south end zone. Programs are $5.

50/50 Raffle
The 50/50 raffle tickets will be available throughout the stadium, as well as at the kiosk in the southwest corner.

For the Kids
Falcon Kids Club tickets can be redeemed at any ticket booth with a valid membership card. The Kid Zone will be located at the Falcon Tailgate Park. Inflatables for kids to play on will be available.

Stadium Information
* Students can enter the stadium through any gate, provided they have claimed their free ticket.
* Even sections are located on the east side of the stadium (8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20).
* Odd sections are located on the west side of the stadium (7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, and 21).
* First aid and the Paramedics Station will be located at the northwest side of the stadium.
* The BGSU marketing tent is located near the south end zone, adjacent to the flagpole.
* Customer service and stadium information will be located at the BGSU marketing tent located in the south end zone. This is also the lost & found area, as well as the lost kids drop area as well. Lost & Found will be open for up to 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game. If you have lost an item and lost & found is closed, please call Steve Messenger at (419) 372-7263.
* Police officers will be located throughout the stadium.
* Bowling Green State University is a smoke free campus. Smoking is not allowed inside the stadium. Please help us by smoking in the designated smoking areas outside of Gate 2.
* Green Game Day is a joint program between Campus Sustainability and BG Athletics to reduce waste in and around Doyt Perry Stadium. You can help us tackle waste by using a "green" bag in the tailgate area and filling it full of cans and bottles. Simply tie it up and leave it at your tailgate area for pickup. In the stadium, please recycle your cans and bottles in the containers provided.
