Falcons Welcome Youngstown State To Steller Field Tuesday

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team returns to Steller Field on Tuesday (April 10) to host Youngstown State University. The ballgame is scheduled to begin at 3:05 p.m. The Falcons enter play with a 9-21 overall record.
"We have really played some good baseball the last few midweek games," said head coach Danny Schmitz. "I think these games give you an opportunity to bring some momentum into the weekend. Youngstown State has had our number the last few years, and we are anxious to get back out to Steller Field and play a clean game."
Youngstown State is 9-19 on the season, but the Penguins own a solid 7-4 record in Horizon League play. Blaze Glenn is hitting a team-high .305 at the dish for a squad that owns a .237 batting average. The Penguins' team ERA is 6.55. YSU is allowing an average of 9.82 hits per game.
