COACH SCHMITZ QUOTE
"I thought we came out here and played a pretty solid game against a really, really good team," said head coach Danny Schmitz. "We allowed two crooked numbers, and most of the time, a team like Wright State will make you pay for that. But I thought a number of different pitchers gave us strong efforts, and we did had some good situational hitting. We just didn't give ourselves enough chances offensively."
ADDITIONAL GAME NOTES
• Jeremy Spezia got the start for Bowling Green, and pitched 3.0 innings of no-hit baseball. He allowed just one walk while striking out two.
• Over his last three appearances, which spans 10.0 innings, Spezia has surrendered just four hits while not allowing a single run.
• David Stopp was very strong from out of the pen, as Wright State mustered just one hit against the lefty across 3.2 innings. Stopp fanned two and walked one.
