Every year the Varsity BG Club honors several outstanding Falcon Letter Winners and friends of the Falcons. The Gold Letter Winner Award is given to a former Falcon Letter Winner who lettered more than 50 years ago, while the Silver Letter Winner Award is given to a former Falcon Letter Winner who lettered more than 25 years ago. Starting last year, the Silver Award will now be presented to a male and female letter winner. Besides the years qualification, the nominee should have somehow excelled after leaving BGSU. The Honorary Award goes to a non-letter winner(s) who has contributed to the BGSU Athletic Program in some fashion.
