MAC Report Online Complete Release
There will be plenty of experience on display as the MAC approaches its 62nd season of football and reflective of the high number of returning upperclassmen this year in the Mid-American Conference, MAC Report Online's 2008 first and second team preseason all-conference selections feature 31 seniors among the 52 players selected.

There was also an even distribution among this year's squads with each MAC school landing no fewer than three representatives on this year's preseason All-MAC teams, paced by Ball State which landed seven players on the all-conference first or second team followed by defending champion Central Michigan as well as Akron, Western Michigan and defending MAC East champion Miami which all placed five players on the preseason team.

Heading up MAC Report Online's projected specialty awards are Central Michigan junior quarterback Dan LeFevour as its choice to repeat as the MAC's offensive player of the year and Northern Illinois defensive end Larry English is projected to finish the season as the MAC's top defensive player.

MAC Report Online's 2007 preseason All-MAC team featured no fewer than twenty players that went on to earn first team All-MAC postseason honors with another 21 members of MAC Report Online's 2007 preseason squad earning either second or third team all-conference honors at the conclusion of the 2007 campaign.

In addition to the 31 seniors on this year's preseason All-MAC teams, 16 juniors and five sophomores also earned recognition.
