Vicki Miwa came to Bowling Green from Northern Arizona. As a Falcon, she earned All-MAC honors three times, one of only three players to do that at BGSU. At the conclusion of her career, she held 11 school records. On the diamond, she had a 1.43 ERA, helping the Falcons to the MAC title and an NCAA berth. In 1988 during Miwa's senior season, the Falcons finished first in the Mid-American Conference for the first time ever.
During her career, Miwa was named second team all region in 1987, and three time first team all MAC player from 1986 to 1988. Miwa held 11 records for BGSU at one point during her playing career.
Vicki Miwa was inducted to the BGSU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001.
