Perry Named NCAA XC National Athlete Of The Week for Division I Women

Bowling Green, Ohio -- After a dominant victory in the women's 6k at the Falcon Invitational last weekend, BGSU's Kailee Perry has been named NCAA XC National Athlete of the Week for Division I Women by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Perry earns this prestigious honor after posting a remarkable time of 21:09.5, helping the Falcons place third overall in team score.
Regarding her performance this past weekend, Head Coach Lou Snelling said, "It's super exciting. She's just an athlete that wants it really badly … It was really cool to watch."
This is the first national honor earned by a BGSU student-athlete this year.
