In the 2018-19 season, the Falcons recorded a 10-10 record, going 3-4 in the MAC. The season began with a sweep against Bellarmine University, the first sweep to open the spring schedule for the Falcons since 1996. Over the course of the season, the Orange and Brown captured four total sweeps. Additionally, BGSU topped rival Toledo in a tight 4-3 match that came down to the final point with the Falcons being victorious.Â
Following the 2018-19 season, Paula Comella was named to the First Team All-MAC after having been named MAC Doubles Team of the Week twice and MAC Singles Player of the Week once during the season.Â
The 2019-20 season began with promise for the Falcons, going 6-3 to begin the campaign. However, the coronavirus outbreak cut the season short after nine matches, seeing Bowling Green end the season on a three-match win streak as well as the final match being a 7-0 sweep.
The 2020-21 campaign proved to be another successful season for the Bowling Green Tennis program, playing to a 13-7 overall record with a 9-5 standing within the Mid-American Conference, finishing third in the standings. The success came on the back of an 8-2 record at home for the Orange and Brown, including victories in the final three home matches of the season.
In 2021-22, the Falcons saw success with a younger, shorthanded team. Selina Karg earned MAC Singles Player of the Week on March 23, then Karg and Hannah Neuman were named MAC Doubles Team of the Week on April 6. In the fall, Ioanna Tsadari won the Singles Title at the Pam Whitehead Invitational.
