Potential MAC Basketball Tourney First Round Ticket Information

BGSU Athletics today released ticket information for potential Falcon women's and men's basketball First Round home games as part of the upcoming 2010 MAC Tournament. Beginning with this year's tournament, for both the women's and men's brackets, the conference is returning to a format in which the 5-12 seeds will play First Round games on campus sites, with the winners advancing to take on the 1-4 seeds in Quarterfinal games at Quicken Loans Arena in Downtown Cleveland.
Should either (or both) the Falcon women's or men's basketball teams finish the regular season in position to host a First Round game, the schedule would be as follows:
Saturday, March 6
Women's First Round
BGSU vs. TBA
7:00pm – Anderson Arena
Sunday, March 7
Men's First Round
BGSU vs. TBA
4:00pm – Anderson Arena
Complete ticket information for potential MAC Tournament First Round games is listed below. Ticket order reservations may be placed starting Monday, February 22 at 9:00am ET over the phone at 877-BGSU TICKET or in-person at the BGSU Athletic Ticket Office located in the main lobby of Anderson Arena (M-F, 9:00am-5:00pm). Tickets will be the same price both in advance and walk-up day of game. Ticket order reservations may be made only with a credit card. Orders/reservations will not be processed until it becomes certain that a game (or games) will take place. Cash and personal checks (valid Photo I.D. required) will be accepted on game day.
2010 MAC Tournament First Round Game Ticket Pricing
Tickets will be $10 across the board for both a potential BGSU Women's and/or Men's 2010 MAC Tournament First Round home game. Additionally:
>>> 2009-10 BGSU Women's OR Men's basketball season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase their same seats before they become available for sale to the general public. Women's season ticket seats not purchased by Thursday, March 4 at 5:00pm will become available for sale to the general public, and Men's season ticket seats not purchased by Friday, March 5 at 5:00pm will be available for sale to the general public.
>>> Youth 12 and under will get in for ONLY $1 (at any seat type) with the purchase of an Adult ticket (at any seat type).
>>> As always, BGSU Students will get in FREE with a valid Student I.D.
>>> A special reduced ticket price of $4 will be available for Groups of 20+, and Groups that have already attended a 2009-10 BGSU athletic home event (regardless of sport) will be offered a ticket price of ONLY $2.
PENDING THE POTENTIAL FOR EITHER THE BGSU WOMEN'S OR MEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM TO HOST A FIRST ROUND GAME, THE BGSU ATHLETIC TICKET OFFICE WILL OBSERVE SPECIAL OPERATING HOURS OF 8:00AM-6:00PM WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY, MARCH 3-5.
ADVANCE TICKET ORDER RESERVATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK-UP AT THE BGSU ATHLETIC TICKET OFFICE WITH VALID PHOTO I.D. ONCE IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT BGSU IS HOSTING A FIRST ROUND HOME GAME. NO TICKETS WILL BE MAILED. TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AND PICK-UP BEGINNING TWO HOURS PRIOR TO TIP-OFF ON GAME DAY. ANDERSON ARENA DOORS WILL OPEN ONE HOUR PRIOR TO TIP-OFF ON GAME DAY.
