Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University assistant men's basketball coach Dennis Hopson competed in the first round of the second annual Shots From the Heart Tournament, benefitting the Skip Prosser Foundation.
The tournament is a 64-man bracket-style tournament pitting one assistant coach against another in a free-throw competition. Each coach shoots 25 free-throws and their convenience and reports their score. The first 10 free-throws are worth one points, the next five are worth two, the next five are worth three, the next four are worth four, and the 25th free-throw is worth five points. Hopson is competing against Michigan's LaVall Jordan in the first round.
