Story No. 10 From 2010-11: Rowland Wins MAC Indoor Title In Weight Throw

Throughout the summer, the Bowling Green State University Athletics Department will be counting down the top 10 stories of the 2010-11 year. The list was compiled and voted on by members of the Athletics Department administration and Athletic Communications department. We'll release the list one at a time until announcing the No. 1 moment on Aug. 2.

Jessie Rowland Wins MAC Indoor Championship In Weight Throw
Sophomore Jessie Rowland earned Bowling Green's first individual MAC Indoor Championship in four years, by winning the weight throw and breaking the school record with a toss of 19.45 meters. She obliterated her previous career best and, interestingly enough, did it all on her birthday. It was the first indoor title for the Falcons since Jamie Roflow won the 5000 in 2007.
