Upgrades Continue At Steller Field
December 19, 2012 | Baseball
With the season just under two months away, and the home-opener just about three months away, the new backstop will provide a new and improved viewing experience for fans at Steller Field. With the replacement of the old backstop, the new backstop uses just a four-pole system. The four-pole system will allow fans to enjoy an unobstructed view of the playing surface at Steller Field from any one of the 1,100 bleacher seats.
The backstop upgrade comes after the scoreboard was replaced in October. The new scoreboard features a digital display. The full release of the scoreboard installment can be found by clicking HERE.The 2013 Falcons will begin the season in Bowling Green, Ky. with a three-game set vs. Western Kentucky beginning on February 15. The home-opener will be vs. Malone on March 13.
