Falcons Make the Grade Yet Again

BGSU has a combined team GPA of 3.27 in the fall, & a cumulative GPA of 3.436
A total of five student-athletes had a perfect 4.00 grade-point average in the fall semester, and no fewer than 10 of the 13 team members had a GPA of 3.00 or higher during the semester.
Through the completion of the fall semester, 10 of the 13 student-athletes have a cumulative GPA higher than 3.00, with six of those players maintaining a GPA better than 3.50.
The BGSU women's basketball team members combined for a GPA of 3.27 in the fall semester, and the Falcon women's basketball student-athletes have a combined cumulative GPA of 3.436.
On the court, the Falcons have a record of 88-23, including three MAC regular-season titles and three national postseason appearances, since seniors Simone Eli, Allison Papenfuss and Chrissy Steffen ventured to BGSU. The Falcons are 61-16 overall in the BG playing careers of senior Danielle Havel and juniors Jillian Halfhill and Jill Stein, and BG is 33-11 since junior Alexis Rogers and sophomores Deborah Hoekstra and Jasmine Matthews first put on a BGSU uniform.
This season, with first-year Falcons Bailey Cairnduff and Miriam Justinger – both freshmen – and junior Katrina Salinas joining the active roster, BGSU has a record of 9-4 through the completion of non-conference play. Erica Donovan is sitting out the 2012-13 season as a transfer from North Carolina State University.
The Falcons of head coach Jennifer Roos open Mid-American Conference action on Thursday night (Jan. 10), hosting Kent State University in a 7:00 p.m. start at the Stroh Center.
