The Bowling Green State University and Robert Morris University, in conjunction with the Toledo Walleye, announced last February the programs will play as part of the Walleye's Winterfest at Fifth Third Field in Toledo, Ohio on Jan. 3, 2015 at 12 p.m. The 13th-ranked Falcons and 19th-ranked Colonials will play in their first-ever outdoor game as part of the 10-day community winter celebration from Dec. 26, 2014 through Jan. 4, 2015, presented by ProMedica. Traffic
I-75 is under construction on both north and south bound lanes throughout Northwest Ohio. Please make sure to plan your time accordingly. Also expect an increased amount of traffic around the Toledo area due to game day crowds of fans and tailgaters attending the game.
Tickets
To help expedite your entrance into Fifth Third Field, gates will open at 11 a.m.to the public, so you will be able to purchase and pick up your tickets early that day if needed. Player will call will be located at the corner of Washington and Huron in the suite entrance. Public will call will be at the main Toledo Mud Hens box office on the first base side. Pregame Tailgate
The BGSU Alumni Association will be holding a pregame tailgate at The Blarney, 601 Monroe Street, across from 5/3 Field beginning at 9 am for BGSU alums and fans. * Fans are welcome to bring their Winterfest ticket to the basketball game (s) at the Stroh Center to redeem a free popcorn or soda.
Concessions
Fifth Third Field will have open concessions throughout the concourse during the event! Stop by to pick up a fresh, hot cup of coffee or a cup of hot chocolate during the game. BGSU Athletics would like to thank the Toledo Walleye for their support and help throughout the entire Wintefest event. Consessions and restaurants will also be available for fans sitting at the club level throughout the game.
Game Day Programs
The official BGSU in-game programs will be available throughout the main concourse of the stadium. During the game, members of the BGSU markteting department will be handing out free in-game programs, providing updated standings, statistics and rosters for both teams.
