Lee Overcomes Odds To Make Impact For The Falcons
October 26, 2015 | Football
Bowling Green State University tight end Derek Lee has overcome many odds to get on the field in a Falcon uniform for the 2015 season. A native of Wichita, Kan., Lee has caught 15 passes and two touchdowns this season for the Orange and Brown. After beginning his career at North Dakota State, Lee transferred but found himself ineligible and ended up at Butler Community College. After a season at Butler, Lee came to Bowling Green and needed to pass 36 credits in a two semester stretch at BGSU - 58 in the calendar year - to find himself on the field with his teammates this season. A senior, Lee has started seven games for the Falcons and played in all eight this season. BCSN recently went 'All-Access' with him, and that interview can be found below.
