Twelve Falcons Named Academic All-MAC

Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2018 Women's Indoor Track & Field Academic All-MAC team Friday and 12 members of the Bowling Green State University Track & Field team were honored.
Among the 163 student-athletes who received the honor, 11 had a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Three of those highest achieving honorees are at Bowling Green, tied with Western Michigan for most in the MAC. Rachel Durbin, Aliyah Gustafson and Rachel Stute all hold a cumulative 4.0 GPA.
In order to be named Academic All-MAC, a student-athlete must excel in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that sport. Freshmen and transfers in their first year of residency are not eligible.
