Clair and Miller highlight an explosive set of returning skill position players in 2018. Clair ran for 725 yards and broke the school record with 6.8 yards per carry. He ranked fifth in the country in all-purpose yards by true freshmen and had four straight 100-yard rushing games at one point.
Miller has twice been named All-MAC during his career, including first team honors as a sophomore. He enters his senior year with 1,719 career receiving yards, 19th in program history. His six career 100-yard receiving games is tied for 10th in school history.
Taborn was limited to just seven games in 2017 due to injury but is a key and experienced cornerstone piece to making the BGSU offense effective. As a true freshman, he blocked for Fred Coppet, who rushed for 1,000 yards, and as a sophomore he helped provide protection for true freshman quarterback Jarret Doege to have one of the greatest debut seasons for a signal-caller in program history.
Konowalski and Harris are building-block pieces on the defensive front seven under new Defensive Coordinator Carl Pelini. Both have started all 24 games over the past two seasons.
Konowalski tied for the team lead with 8.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 quarterback sacks in 2017. He also forced three fumbles a year ago, providing the defense with critical big-play ability.
Harris recorded 92 tackles a year ago, among the most on the team. He's an explosive player who has recorded two defensive touchdowns in his career (one by interception and one via a 93-yard fumble recovery).
As a punt returner, Milton had 104 yards on 13 returns in 2017, with a season-long 26-yarder against Ohio. He is also a dynamic player in the secondary and has five career interceptions – three of which came a year ago.
Coming off a 2-10 season in 2017, Bowling Green returns 38 letter winners to go with 15 returning starters (six on offense, seven on defense, two on special teams). BGSU plays six home games in 2018, including hosting Maryland from the Big Ten. For information about purchasing season tickets, please CLICK HERE.
