Falcons Add Three More To 2018-19 Cross Country, Track & Field Program

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University track and field and women's cross country programs have announced the addition of three student-athletes for the 2018 incoming class. In December, the programs announced an initial list of five student-athletes (CLICK HERE for release).
Ayanna Burrell (Stroudsburg, Pa. / Stroudsburg HS), Ebonie Whitted (Chesapeake, Va. / Grassfield HS) and Lauren Jackson (Celina, Ohio / Celina HS) will join the programs. Burrell will bolster the track & field team's jumps unit, while Whitted will join the storied throws program. Jackson will be a middle distance runner and compete in cross country.
Those three join Jazzlynn Gaiters (Worthington, Ohio / Thomas Worthington HS), Iyanna Ross (Columbus, Ohio / Pickerington Central HS), Katie Seyfang (Washington Court House, Ohio / Miami Trace HS), Olivia Clymer (White Lake Township, Mich. / White Lake Lakeland HS) and Katerina Shuble (La Porte, Ind. / La Porte HS) among new additions to the program.
BGSU track & field completed a successful indoor season, placing third in the Mid-American Conference and sending shot putter Aliyah Gustafson to the 2018 Indoor Track & Field National Championships. During the outdoor season, the Falcons sent three competitors in six events to the NCAA East Region preliminary round. Gustafson and Rachel Walny will represent the Falcons at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in the shot put and 10,000 respectively.
