Five Falcons Earn Academic All-MAC Accolades

The Mid-American Conference has announced that five Bowling Green State University women's golf student-athletes have been named to the 2018 Academic All-MAC Team. The announcement was made on Thursday afternoon (May 31).
BGSU's total of five honorees tied the Falcons for second among all MAC programs.
The Academic All-MAC honor is bestowed upon student-athlete who have excelled in both athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.

Of the 38 total student-athletes recognized, only one -- BGSU's own Jessica Madry -- maintains a perfect 4.000 cumulative GPA.
