October 12, 2009 | Football
The Bowling Green State University athletic department has just announced the website launch of www.freddiebarnes.com, a website dedicated to Bowling Green senior wide receiver Freddie Barnes, who currently leads the nation in receptions (75) and receiving yards (722).
The website includes a player bio page, information on what Barnes has done this year, audio and video clips from 2009 and a handful of other great accomplishments from the Chicago Heights, Ill., native.
What is now being called as the Catch-22 game, Barnes set school records in catches (22) and yards (278) in a 36-35 win at Kent State and added a career-best three touchdowns as the Falcons rallied from a 35-23 deficit with 4:47 remaining in the contest.
