Lemke, Eccleston Named Papa John's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Papa John's Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's soccer player Zach Lemke and tennis player Maddy Eccleston.
Male Athlete of the Week
Zach Lemke, a redshirt freshman from Beavercreek, Ohio, helped the Falcons to a 2-0-0 week, including a 2-1 win over IPW and a 2-0 conference victory over Buffalo. He scored his first collegiate goal in the Buffalo match, which ended as the game-winner, after heading home a cross in the contest's first five minutes.
Female Athlete of the Week
Maddy Eccleston, a sophomore from Toledo, Ohio, went 6-0 on the weekend as the Falcons competed at Toledo's Rocket Invitational. Eccleston went 3-0 in singles play without dropping a set and 3-0 in double play with two different partners on the weekend.
