RESULTS
The Bowling Green State University men's golf team slipped to ninth-place after carding a 308 in round two at the Palmas Del Mar in Humacao, Puerto Rico.
USC Upstate continues to lead the field by 10 shots (574), ahead of Old Dominion (584), St. John's (588), Rollins (589) and Johnson & Wales (590) to round out the top five. The Falcons currently have a 36-hole score of 607.
Senior John Powers had the low round for the Orange and Brown, firing a 75 in round two. The senior is currently in a tie for 11th with a score of 147 (72-75).
Schneider, who was in third after round one, slipped, shooting an 80 on day two, but is still tied for 21st with a 150.
Freshman Wes Gates continued his consistent play, firing a 77 on day two. Combined with his 75 in round one he is currently tied for 37th.
Also competing for the Falcons were Drew Preston (81-76--157, T-48th), Scott Blackburn (81-81--162, T-67th) and Chad Walker (84-79--163, T-69th)
The third and final round will take place on Wednesday afternoon.
