Stroh Center Donor Reception Held Thursday

Bowling Green, Ohio - A reception for all donors to the Stroh Center was held Thursday evening in the arena. Those who donated to the Stroh Center project were the first official group to take part in an event in the facility.

Associate Director of Athletics Mary Ellen Gillespie and Director of Athletics Greg Christopher both spoke briefly and those in attendance were encouraged to walk around the Stroh Center and test the facility out.

The first official public event in the building will take place Aug. 13 when Sanctus Real holds a concert. The official grand opening will take place Sept. 9 and the Bowling Green volleyball team will play the first official athletic event in the building as the Falcons take on Michigan State at 6 p.m. that evening.
