Bowling Green's 2011 Football Ticket Sales Witnessing An Increase

BOWLING GREEN, OH – With three weeks to go before its season opener at Idaho on Sept. 1, football season tickets sales are up 15 percent from last season. Season ticket renewals are at 84 percent compared to 78 percent last year and more than 200 new season tickets have been sold. Overall football ticket sales are up with an increase in group ticket sales for individual games.

This marks the first year of Bowling Green's partnership with Collegiate Consulting to sell tickets for football, men's basketball, women's basketball and ice hockey. BGSU's General Manager of Ticket Sales & Services, Scott Friedman, stated, “We are pleased with the results thus far and encouraged by new season ticket sales and strong renewal percentage for the 2011 season. Our sales team's outbound sales efforts have paid dividends this summer and our goal is to fill up Doyt Perry Stadium for the 2011 season."

BGSU opens its six give home schedule on Spt. 10 when it hosts Morgan State. The Falcons will also host Wyoming (Sept 17), Toledo (Oct 15, - Homecoming), Temple (Oct 22), Northern Illinois (Nov 8), and conclude with Ohio (Nov 16).
