Freddie Barnes Signs with Saskatchewan Roughriders

Former Bowling Green State University football player Freddie Barnes has signed a contract with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, a member of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Barnes finished his career at Bowling Green with 297 recpeions, the most in school history. He added 3,290 receiving yards and 30 touchdowns, the second-most in BGSU history.
In 2009 Barnes was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, given to the nation's top wide receiver. He ended that season with an NCAA record 155 catches for 1,770 yards and 19 touchdowns.
