Baraldi Named to National Team of the Week

Falcon freshman honored by College Soccer News
Bowling Green State University men's soccer freshman Danny Baraldi has been named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week. The online soccer publication made the announcement on Sunday night (Aug. 28).
Baraldi, a native of Canton, Ohio (Massillon Jackson H.S.), scored his first collegiate goal in his first collegiate match on Friday night (Aug. 26). That goal, which came on his first shot, gave the Falcons a 1-0 lead in the 64th minute of what would prove to be a 2-0 win over No. 9 Michigan at Cochrane Field.
Baraldi and the Falcons continue a season-opening three-match homestand with a Wednesday (Aug. 31) match vs. IPFW. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at Cochrane. Then, the Brown and Orange will host Cleveland State University on Saturday evening (Sept. 3) at 5:00 p.m.
