Oglesby, Steffen Named Papa John's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Papa John's Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's basketball player Torian Oglesby and women's basketball player Chrissy Steffen.
Male Athlete of the Week
Torian Oglesby, a senior from Saginaw, Mich., has averaged 10.3 points and a team-best 8.3 rebounds, while making all 15 of his field goal attempts, over the past three games. Oglesby set a school record by going 10-for-10 against Texas San Antonio and his streak of 26 consecutive made field goal attempts has set an NCAA Division I record, breaking a mark that stood for 33 years.
Female Athlete of the Week
Chrissy Steffen, a junior from Carmel, Ind., averaged 20.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in a 60-53 win over Wyoming and a 70-57 win at Colorado State. She shot 45 percent from the field and 35 percent from three-point range, making seven long-range shots. She scored a career-high 25 points in the win over Colorado State, adding seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.
