Joe Cooper, a member of the Bowling Green State University men's golf team, finished in a tie for second at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invite, hosted by Ball State University.
The invite featured no team scoring, just a field of 47 individual golfers.
Cooper finished the tournament at two-over par, scoring 212 in 54 holes of action. The sophomore opened with a one-under 69 in round one and closed with a 70-73 in the final 36 holes.
Also competing for the Falcons were Torey Brummett (78-79-74--231, T-34th) and Griffin Smith (89-72-74--235, 39th).
The entire Falcon team will return to action on Oct. 22 as they travel a few hours south to compete in the UD Invitational in Dayton, Ohio.
