Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University Athletics Department, in conjunction with BGSU Agile Software Factory, has announced the launch of their new mobile application for iOS (iPhones/iPads) and Android devices. The free app is designed to provide BGSU Athletics fans with a new way to follow the Falcons.
“We are excited about the launch of our new app,” Jason Knavel, Assistant Athletics Director for Athletic Communications, said. “We hope that it will provide our fans with another way to follow BGSU Athletics and to make their gameday experience more enjoyable.”
Fans will be able to read game stories, check schedules and add games to their calendars, review rosters and bios for all student-athletes, submit photos to a community gallery, and review maps of athletic department facilities.
The app will be available on Google Play (for Android) in the coming days and will be available via iTunes App Store (for iPhone/iPad) in the next few weeks.
Anthony Fontana was the lead designer of the app and Joe Chao was the director. The team manager of the app was Glen Hordemann and developers were Ryan Copely, Andrew Horner, Jacob Smith, and Navarr Barnier.
