Bowling Green, Ohio – Junior Michelle Bowles, from Toledo, Ohio, and sophomore Abbey Pilgrim, from Englewood, Ohio, were each named to the 2011-12 STUNT First Team All-American teams by a committee of coaches and officials.
“We take great pride in our cheer program and the spirit they provide to our BGSU Athletics teams and University community,” head cheer coach Anne Marie King, who serves on the STUNT committee and the STUNT Coaches Advisory Board, said. “We also take pride in the athleticism of our team members. STUNT applies the athletic skills into an NCAA game format, which gives our program the ability to expand and enhance the athletic opportunities for our members. STUNT has been a great fit for our program and athletes, and our program is honored to have two athletes selected as First Team All-Americans.”
