Wiest, Togba Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's soccer player Michael Wiest and women's soccer player Tracy Togba.
Male Athlete of the Week
Michael Wiest, a junior goalkeeper from Naperville, Ill., made seven saves to earn a complete-match shutout in a 3-0 win over Saint Bonaventure. The shutout was the seventh of his career in just 14 career starts and fifth in eight home matches. The seven saves tied a career-high, giving him a 3-0-0 record with 0.00 goals against average in the month of August in his career.
Female Athlete of the Week
Tracy Togba, a junior forward from Orange Village, Ohio, scored the first goal of the match in a 2-1 victory over IUPUI. Her turnaround shot into the far upper corner of the net from 20 yards out gave BGSU a 1-0 lead early in the second half. The Falcons went on to take a 2-0 lead and then held off a late rally for the win.
