Two to Join Men’s Golf Program For 2013-14

“It will be very difficult to replace the three seniors from this season, but I believe that the three coming in have the potential to do it,” said Farrell. “They will make an immediate impact in our lineup.”
Rinker currently attends Slippery Rock High School in Slippery Rock, Pa., and is coached by Merle Whitmer. In the past three years he has two top-three finishes at the state tournament. Rinker, who has also qualified for the 2012 United States Junior Amateur, has multiple top-10 finishes in the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) tournaments. A three-time team captain, Rinker owns the school record for scoring average (72.5), lowest 18-hole score (66) and lowest nine-hole score (33).
“Brett is a great player and has proven himself at the highest levels,” said Farrell. “We are extremely excited he has chosen to become a Falcon”
Stacy comes to BGSU from Findlay High School in Findlay, Ohio, while being coached by Bob Soellner. Stacy

“Eli has a lot of potential and it is obvious he has a strong passion for Bowling Green,” said Farrell. “Training with the team, there is no telling how good he may become.”
