Calhoun, Brozovich Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's basketball player A'uston Calhoun and tennis player Katie Brozovich.
Male Athlete of the Week
A'uston Calhoun, a senior from Southfield, Mich., averaged 17.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game as the Falcons split two games on the week. Calhoun had 15 points, 12 rebounds, a block and a steal in the team's win at Northern Illinois, the first Falcon road victory of the season. He then followed that up with a game-high 19 points and eight rebounds at Ohio. Calhoun also went 9-of-11 from the free-throw line on the week.
Female Athlete of the Week
Katie Brozovich, a freshman from Clarkston, Mich., was a perfect 4-0 as the Falcons beat Cleveland State and Cincinnati this week. She teamed with Drew Fillis to drop just one game in two doubles matches and then rolled to straight set victories at No. 6 singles in both matches, never losing more than three games in a set.
