Wallace, Harrington Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Andrew Wallace and gymnast Megan Harrington.
Male Athlete of the Week
Andrew Wallace, a junior from Bedfor, Nova Scotia, had one of his best weekends as a Falcon, scoring three points in the series against Northern Michigan. He recorded an assist Friday followed by a goal and an assist in the Falcons' 5-3 victory over Northern Michigan Saturday. Wallace also led BGSU with a +3 on-ice rating and blocked one shot.
Female Athlete of the Week
Megan Harrington, a junior from Bloomington, Ill, won the all-around and two event titles as BGSU gymnastics dominated MAC rivals Ball State and Eastern Michigan Saturday. She had career-bests on the balance beam (9.825) and floor exercise (9.9), as well as a top-ten all-around score in BGSU history (38.900).
