DeSalvo, Rogers Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey student-athlete Dan DeSalvo and women's basketball player Alexis Rogers.
Male Athlete of the Week
Dan DeSalvo, a junior from Rolling Meadows, Ill., had two goals and four assists as Bowling Green swept Alabama Huntsville to move into sole possession of third place in the WCHA standings this weekend. DeSalvo had a +4 on-ice rating, tallied seven shots on goal and was the first star Saturday night.
Alexis Rogers, a senior from West Chester, Ohio, had 22 points and a career-high 17 rebounds as BGSU opened MAC play with a 62-50 win over Buffalo. She amassed those totals in just 29 minutes on the floor and had 10 offensive boards. No Falcon has recorded more than 17 rebounds in a game since 1996.
