Kontak Leads Falcons at Rocket Individual Classic

First & Second Round Results
Perrysburg, Ohio – Four members of the Bowling Green State University men's golf team teed-off at the Rocket Individual Intercollegiate on Monday, as freshman Mitchell Kontak led a quadrant of Falcons in Holden Pahr, Eli Stacy and Ethan DeForest on day one of play at the Belmont Country Club in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Kontak, a local product from Toledo, Ohio, carded rounds of 78, +6, and 77, +5, to end day one of play in a ninth-place overall with a combined 36-hole score of 155, +11.
Pahr will enter the final day of play on Tuesday in a tie for 13th-place overall with back-to-back rounds of 79, +7, and a combined score of 158, +14, while Stacy turned in rounds of 77, +5, and 84, +12, to end day one with a 36-hole score of 161, +17, and 17th-place overall.
Making his intercollegiate debut, DeForest ended day one in a tie for 20th-place overall with a combined two-round score of 167, +23, having posted rounds of 86, +14, and 81, +9, on Monday.
The final 18 holes of play of the 54-hole individual event will begin with a 10 a.m. start time on Tuesday morning.
