BGSU’s Kontak and Pahr Finish in Top-15 at Rocket Individual Classic

Final Results

Perrysburg, Ohio – Bowling Green State University's Mitchell Kontak and Holden Pahr each finished in the top-15 overall at the two-day, 54-hole, Rocket Individual Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Toledo at the Belmont Country Club in Perrysburg, Ohio.

In the individual event, Kontak finished in a tie for 10th-place overall with a combined 54-hole score of 233, +17. The freshman carded rounds of 78, 77 and 78 over the two-day event to pace the Falcons.

Pahr posted a 14th-place finish overall with a combined score of 238, +22. The junior was consistent over his three rounds of play for the tournament, shooting rounds of 79, 79 and 80.

Sophomore Eli Stacy turned in rounds of 77, 84 and 83 to finish in a tie for 17th-place overall with a combined three-round score of 244, +28, while freshman Ethan DeForest carded rounds of 86, 81 and 88 to place in 23rd-place overall with a combined 54-hole score of 255, +39, in his first-ever intercollegiate event.

The Falcons will conclude its 2014 fall slate on Nov. 7-9 at the Kaanapali Collegiate Classic in Lahaina, Hawaii.
