Moore, Fleak Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are football player Ronnie Moore and women's soccer player Skylar Fleak.
Male Athlete of the Week Skylar Fleak, a freshman from Sunbury, Ohio, notched two goals over the weekend, including the overtime game-winner in the Falcons' 1-0 win at Akron Sunday. Fleak posted the lone BGSU goal of the game at Buffalo Friday night in the 44th minute, a score that tied the contest at 1-1. Sunday, she converted her fourth shot of the match in the 95th minute, putting the ball in the back of the net to give the Falcons their first conference win of the year.

Male Athlete of the WeekRonnie Moore, a sophomore from Sanford, Fla., exploded for a career-high 178 yards receiving in Saturday's win over Buffalo, including five plays of 20+ yards -- two of which came on the game-winning drive. Moore scored a touchdown and tied his career-high with nine receptions in the game. In total, he had 232 all-purpose yards, which was his second consecutive game of 200+ all-purpose yards and at least 100 yards receiving.
