Kick Times Announced For Numerous 2014 Football Games

2014 BGSU Football Schedule
Cleveland, Ohio ā The Mid-American Conference has announced start times for the first three weeks of the 2014 college football season, as well as a handful of other contests throughout the year. In all, BGSU now has times for eight of its 12 games and the remaining kick times and television will be announced at a future date.

BGSU Football will open the Dino Babers era Friday, Aug. 29 at Western Kentucky at 8 pm. That contest will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network and will be the first opportunity for Falcon Nation to get a glimpse of #FalconFast.

The team will return home for the next two weeks hosting VMI in Doyt Perry Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 3:30 pm on ESPN3. The Falcons will then welcome Big Ten's Indiana for a rematch of last year's contest for Family Weekend with a noon start on Saturday, Sept. 13, televised by either ESPNU or ESPNews.

Bowling Green's game at Wisconsin Sept. 20 does not yet have a start time, but the following week's contest at UMass will start at 3 pm on Saturday, Sept. 27.

Homecoming will take place Oct. 4 against Buffalo (time to be announced) before BGSU goes on the road to face Ohio on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 2 pm. BGSU will hold Legacy Weekend (CLICK HERE for Save The Date information) against Western Michigan Oct. 18 (time yet to be announced).

As the calendar turns to November, BGSU will start midweek games beginning with a contest at Akron on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 8 pm, televised by either ESPN2 or ESPNU. The Falcons host Kent State on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 8 pm, also televised by either ESPN2 or ESPNU. Bowling Green will have a third consecutive game on either ESPN2 or ESPNU on Wednesday, Nov. 19 in the Battle Of I-75 game at Toledo at 8 pm.

BGSU closes out the regular season on Friday, Nov. 28 at home against Ball State. With a time yet to be determined, that game will be broadcast on either ESPNU or ESPN3. Bowling Green will look to defend its MAC Championship and the 18th Marathon MAC Football Championship game will be played Friday, Dec. 5 at Ford Field in Detroit on ESPN2.
Following a 10-4 season in 2013 and a MAC Championship following a 7-1 league mark, BGSU has had 12 Falcons named to Phil Steele's preseason All-MAC list, including a league-high six first-teamers, including quarterback Matt Johnson, running back Travis Greene, center Alex Huettel, defensive end Bryan Thomas and linebackers D.J. Lynch and Gabe Martin.
