Men’s Golf to Play in Six Different States in the Fall of 2014

Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's golf team will have a challenging fall slate in 2014, as the Falcons will tee-off in six different events with all six tournaments coming in different states.
"I believe that this year's 2014 fall schedule is the best I've put together yet," stated head coach Kevin Farrell. "If we play well, we will shoot up in the rankings and people will finally give us the respect we deserve. It won't be easy, but we will be competing against top teams such as N.C. State, Iowa state, Clemson, Oregon, Tennessee and Georgia."
For the third straight year, BGSU will open up its 2014 fall schedule at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational hosted by Marshall University on September 8-9 in Huntington, West Virginia.
The Falcons will then head south to compete in the Rees Jones Intercollegiate hosted by UNC-Wilmington on September 21-23 in Hilton Head, S.C., before trekking to Madison, Wisconsin to take part in the Badger Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin on September 28-30.
Bowling Green will then tee-off the month of October at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate hosted by N.C. State University on October 6-7 in Raleigh, North Carolina, before wrapping up the month in Vero Beach, Florida at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate hosted by McNeese State University on October 27-28.
BGSU will then end its 2014 fall slate in Lahaina, Hawaii at the Kaanapali Collegiate Classic hosted by the University of Hawaii on November 7-9.
The Falcons return seven golfers in 2014-15 in Joe Cooper, Ryan Triller, Devin O'Grady, Holden Pahr, Jose Narro, Brett Rinker and Eli Stacy, while newcomers Ethan DeForest, Mitchell Kontak and Cameron Michalak round out a roster full of talent from top to bottom for Coach Farrell.
