Flynn, Huth Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's soccer player Pat Flynn and women's soccer player Sidney Huth.

Female Athlete of the Week
Sidney Huth, a senior from Lebanon, Ohio, had two goals and two assists in BGSU's 8-0 win over Chicago State Sunday. Huth played a part in four straight goals during a 15-minute span that gave the Falcons their first win of the season and first since 2012. She assisted on the second goal of the match, scored the third, aided in the fourth and converted the fifth in the rout of the Cougars.

Male Athlete of the WeekPat Flynn, a sophomore from Naperville, Ill., exploded for seven goals and 16 points in the Falcons' three matches last week. Flynn scored more goals and points last week than any BGSU player scored during all of the 2013 season. Flynn began the work with five goals and 11 points, tying the school single-match records in both categories, in the Falcons' 8-0 win over Findlay. On Friday, he added two more goals and an assist in a 4-0 win over Niagara. Flynn was involved in the scoring of 10 of the Falcons' first 14 goals of the year.
Female Athlete of the Week
