Men’s Golf Releases 2015 Spring Slate

BGSU Men's Golf Schedule
Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's golf team in conjunction with head coach Kevin Farrell is excited to announce the 2015 Spring schedule which includes tournaments in California, Texas, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.
"Again we have a very challenging schedule this spring with the intentions on playing a tough schedule in order to better prepare us for the MAC Championship in early May," commented Farrell. "Our first few tournaments will be a tough test for us, as the fields will be very competitive. We are again looking forward to co-hosting the Greenbrier Collegiate Invitational as the tournament field has doubled in size in only the second year of the event."
BGSU will tee-off its 2015 spring slate in the state of California at the Barona Collegiate Cup hosted by San Diego State University in Lakeside, California on Feb. 9-10 at the Barona Creek Golf Club.
After a five-week break from competition, the Falcons will fly south to compete at the Lone Star Invitational on Mar. 23-24 at the Briggs Ranch Golf Club hosted by the University of Texas San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas.
The Falcons will next tee-off at the Seahawk Invitational on April 6-7 hosted by Wagner College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania at the Quail Valley Golf Club.
The following week BGSU and Marshall University will again co-host the Greenbrier Collegiate Invitational, as the second year event will again take place at the Old White TPC at the Greenbrier on April 13-14 in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
On April 18-19, Bowling Green will once again compete at the Rutherford Intercollegiate hosted by Penn State University on the Blue Course at University Park, Pennsylvania.
The 2015 MAC Championship, which will be hosted by Akron University, is scheduled to take place on May 1-3 at the Sand Ridge Club in Chardon, Ohio.
"We are really looking forward to continuing to add on to what we built and worked on this fall," added Farrell.
