"We got off to a good start again despite tough playing conditions and we played well as a team," head coach Kevin Farrell stated. "We made some mental mistakes that hindered us, but we were good enough today and had some guys make some key putts to make up for those miscues and still earn a second-place team finish."
Iglesias registered his second top-five finish of the fall season, as he placed fourth overall with a 54-hole score of 210, -3 under par. The freshman carded rounds of 66, 72 and 72 to post his BGSU career-best 54-hole score of 210, -3 under par. The eighth-place finish is the best finish for the second-year Falcon in his intercollegiate career. Michalak tallied scores of 71, 68 and 74 over his three rounds of play, which included a team-high 12 birdies overall. He posted a par-3 scoring average of 3.00, even par, and a par-4 scoring average of 4.00, ever par, over the three days of play.
