Falcon Nest Coaches Show Is Moving To Thursdays At The New Year
November 02, 2015 | General
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green Athletics and Learfield Sports' Falcon Sports Properties announced today the Falcon Nest Coaches Show will be moving from Monday nights to Thursday nights beginning January 7, 2016 for all sports.
Voice of the BGSU Falcons, Todd Walker, will continue his role as host to the weekly show, which can be heard on the flagship station, WFRO 99.1 FM. The timing and location of the shows will also remain the same, 6-7 p.m. from Fricker's in Bowling Green.
"We're looking forward to moving the coaches show to Thursday evenings as it's a better overall fit for our coaching staffs and fans," said Chuck Spicer, general manager of Falcon Sports Properties, Bowling Green Athletics' exclusive multimedia rights holder. "Scheduling is difficult during season no matter what, but moving to Thursdays allows the coaches a full week to prepare. Hosting a show towards the end of the week is also easier for fans to attend, and after all, these coaches' shows are for the fans!"
Falcon Sports Properties is one of nearly 120 collegiate properties represented by Learfield Sports, which titles the prestigious Learfield Sports Directors' Cup with award co-founders NACDA and USA Today. Learfield's multimedia rights encompass numerous content distribution platforms to deliver the passion of college athletics across radio, television and digital networks to fans globally. Learfield's college partners also have access to licensing and trademark consulting, concessions and hospitality services, digital platform expertise, venue signage and technology systems and professional ticket sales through its owned and operated companies.
