Former Bowling Green State University linebacker Colby Latimer, who played for the Falcons in the mid-1980's has left a lasting legacy despite passing at age 38 when his son Cody was just 12. He was a part of the Falcons' team in 1985 that finished the regular season a perfect 11-0 and won the Mid-American Conference championship on their way to a berth in the California Bowl in Fresno. Today, Cody, a member of the Denver Broncos, is making sure his father's fight against Colon Cancer is not forgotten.
