Narro Shoots Another 68 on Friday at the Azalea Invitational

Charleston, S.C. – Sophomore golfer Jose Narro followed up his first round 68, -3 under par, on Thursday with a second round 68, -3 under par, on Friday to climb up the individual leaderboard after 36 holes of play at the 2015 Azalea Invitational held at the Country Club of Charleston in Charleston, S.C.

Narro carded a second round 68 on the second day of play Friday to give him a 36-hole combined score of 136, -6 under par, and place him in a tie for fifth-place overall out of the 111-player field.

The sophomore turned in three birdies, five pars and one bogey on the front nine to shoot a 34, -2 under par. On the back nine, the Tampico, Mexico native recorded eight pars and one birdie to turn in a 34, -1 under par.

"Again I had a good day, but it was very different than yesterday. Today was more consistent, as I had four birdies and only one bogey," remarked Narro. "I missed some good chances out there, but played pretty good overall. I'm in a good spot coming into the weekend and I'm happy with my game."

The third round of play will commence at 8:00 a.m. ET tomorrow morning.
