Babers Announces Two Scholarships
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Following Tuesday afternoon's practice inside of Perry Field House, head coach Dino Babers had a surprise for two members of the Bowling Green State University football team. Two student-athletes who started their careers as walk-ons and have paid their way through the first three years of eligibility, have been awarded full scholarships. Terrance Bush (South Bend, Ind.) and Trenton Greene (Miami Gardens, Fla.) will both be on scholarship when the Falcons take the field on Sept. 5 to open the 2015 season.
Â
Bush, who is a redshirt junior, has played in 17 games throughout his three seasons as a Falcon. After playing 11 games on the Falcons' MAC Championship team in 2013, Bush played in six games at defensive end in 2014. With his hard work throughout the spring and summer, he now sits as a projected starter when the season opens in 17 days against Tennessee.
Â
Greene, the brother of BGSU running back Travis Greene, came to Bowling Green in 2012 and played in 13 games on special teams. After leaving the school for the 2013 season, he returned in 2014 but did not see game action. This season, Greene entered training camp on the projected two-deep and will have a large impact on the linebackers this upcoming season.

Video of Babers announcing that both student-athletes are now on scholarship, along with reaction interviews with both Bush and Greene can be found above. Finally, a photo gallery from Tuesday's practice session inside Perry Field House can be found at the link above.
