The schedule begins on Thursday, Feb. 25, as the Falcons travel to Ann Arbor, Mich., to take on the University of Michigan. The Wolverines finished the 2015 season with an overall record of 8-6-4, and U-M was in contention for the Big Ten Conference title entering the final regular-season match.
Following that Michigan match, the Falcons will be idle from competition for exactly one month, before hosting Tiffin University on March. 25. BGSU then travels to Rochester, Mich., the following week (April 2) to face Oakland University, before returning to Cochrane Stadium for the final three competition dates. Oakland won the Horizon League Tournament title for the second-straight season in 2015, advancing to the NCAA Championships.
The Falcons will host Detroit on April 10 and Notre Dame College on April 16. UDM earned a result in 75 percent of the team's 2015 contests, going 7-5-8, while NDC finished with a 13-7-0 record and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the fourth consecutive year.
The Brown and Orange will end the spring schedule on April 23, when a plethora of former BG greats will converge upon Cochrane for the team's annual Alumni Match. BGSU finished the 2015 season with an overall record of 9-9-1. The Falcons had just three seniors on the 26-man roster last fall.
